Worship is informal in dress and traditional in format with praise songs, hymns, prayer, and an insightful message based on Scripture and applicable to life today. The first Sunday of the month, Communion is celebrated. All are welcome to the table.
Masks are not required for those who are fully vaccinated against COVID.
Access to the sanctuary is from the front steps or the ramp off the Dutchtown side (south side) of the church.
Organist Anita Davidson also directs the choir. Another group, “Joyful Noise”, presents upbeat, traditional favorites. Instrumentalists and singers who would like to participate in worship, choir or special events are encouraged to contact Ms. Davidson.
Our F.A.M.I.L.Y. Values
FOLLOW THE FATHER
First and foremost, we are to live into God’s plan and purpose in our lives. This is found through Worship, Prayer, Study, and Service
ABUNDANT LIVING
We are created in the image of God to live for His glory. Knowing who we are created to be, helps us to achieve this.
MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS
As Disciples of Christ, we are meant to be in relationship with others to help us grow in our relationship with God.
INTEGRITY
We strive to live into our lives as disciples of Jesus. To give our word, “let our yes be yes, our no be no” to model Jesus’ behavior. We are not always successful, but we try.
LOVING COMPASSION
Like a flock, we gather around to care, protect, and serve one another.
YOUTHFUL ENCOURAGEMENT
Like children encouraging their friends, the encouragement of ideas, ministry, and mission is how we can change our corner of the world.
Our Mission
Is to introduce people to Heaven on earth through the love of Jesus
Our Vision
Loving and Serving, Our God and Our Neighbors
