During Lent, the Christian Education Committee will be hosting 3 Dinner Churches—A Meal with Purpose. These dinners are a chance to break bread (eat), fellowship with others, and have a small lesson taught that is shared among the group of your table. It is a chance to celebrate the early church in a more modern way.
Dinners are at 6:30 and everyone is invited. Letting the church know how many are coming is helpful in meal prepping, but even a last-minute decision is welcomed. Bring a neighbor, a friend, a colleague, or a family member to share some casual church. No liturgy, no expectations, but food, fellowship, and teaching.
Have you out-binged Netflix? Is Prime not offering anything interesting? Let’s not even talk about Friday night television… Harlingen Church is offering this alternative for you.
You are invited to enjoy a classic movie on us. Invite your friends and watch a movie meant for grown ups. No animated children movies, but great cinematic works.
Doors open at 6:30, Pizza, Popcorn, and refreshments are available. No charge. Movie starts at 7:00
